The snow is always deep, soft and plentiful at Lake Louise. Make the most of your winter experience in the Rockies and enjoy a full day tour to Marble Canyon and Lake Louise with ample time on your own to partake in some truly Canadian winter experiences.
Enroute to Lake Louise, we'll make a sidetrip into Kootenay National Park for an easy walk along the edge of Marble Canyon, one of the deepest and narrowest canyons in the Rockies. At Lake Louise you can walk along the frozen lakeshore, rent some ice skates and skate on the lake, join your guide for a bit of snowshoeing, or take a horse drawn sleigh ride across the lake and back. (not included) Or if you prefer to look at the magnificence of the Victoria Glacier from the comfort of a warm chair, why not enjoy some lunch or tea inside the Chateau Lake Louise.
On the way to and from Lake Louise, take in the incredible views of the Rockies' and learn all about Banff's colourful natural and human history from one of Banff's best interpretive guides.Cost
