Plain of 6 Glaciers – Moderate

Every day from July 1st to mid October we offer a group hike led by a professional guide. We’ll provide transportation, a professional driver and interpretive guide with commentary and local stories as they whisk you away to your hiking adventure. We’ll bring everything you need including a packed lunch from Bare Bistro.

The ability level and terrain differ each day so there is something for everyone:

Plain of Six Glaciers - Moderate

Hiking Time: Approximately 4-6 hours 
Distance: 12km roundtrip 
Elevation gain: 600m

Professional hiking guide, transportation from Banff, packed lunch & beverage, hiking poles, use of binoculars.  

Each hike varies in length and time according to the fitness level of the group. Please allow 6-8 hours for the duration of your hike from pickup to drop off.

Dress appropriate for the day's weather. Temperatures in alpine can be colder than the town of Banff; dress in layers and bring a waterproof jacket, sunscreen, and your camera.
