Depart Usa, arrive Calgary YYC, transfer to downtown hotel. Evening welcome briefing Drive to Lake Louise, stop enroute at continental divide at boundary between Banff National Park and Kootenay National Park. Walk at Marble Canyon and lunch at rustic Storm Mtn Lodge Walking and exploring the famous places at Lake Louise including an early morning stroll along the Lake Louise lakeshore, a short walk to the Rockpile at Moraine Lake, plus a walk to the spectacular but less travelled Consolation Lakes Walking and hiking in Kananaskis Country. This mountainous area just outside of Banff National Park offers a variety of different and exciting hiking options. After a morning, lunch in the picturesque town of Canmore and some free time exploring its streets, pathways and galleries will be available plus a visit (maybe lunch) at a local Canmore brewery.
