Private Fortress Backcountry Hiking Adventure with ATV Assist

Imagine yourself traversing high alpine ridgelines in the Canadian Rockies without crowds or long approaches. Join White Mountain Adventures as our guides shuttle you up the private/gated access road, then onward via Ranger ATV into the heart of the Fortress backcountry. Begin your day at the top of Fortress Ridge for a stunning 2-hour ridgeline guided hike. Take in the expansive 360-degree views of towering cliffs, wildflower meadows and pristine mountain lakes. Next shuttle to a secluded small alpine lake to explore surrounding larch forests in the shadow of towering rock walls above.

Meeting Point
Program includes return transport from Banff and Canmore, or we can meet at Fortress Junction, located 40km south on Hwy 40 from the Stoney Nakoda Resort.

Your credit card will be charged the full amount upon purchase. We accept VISA, Mastercard and AMEX. You may cancel your booking at any time up to 48 hours prior to the trip by phoning or emailing your request to us (info@whitemountainadventures.com).
You will receive a full refund less a $5 non-refundable booking fee per cancelled person. Cancellations less than 48 hours prior will be charged the full amount.
